DESCRIPTION:An important part of almost any job in Canada is interacting with customers. In this workshop, you will familiarize yourself with customer service expectations in Canada and improve your customer service skills by practicing specific scenarios. You will learn how to resolve customer complaints, ask open-ended questions, identify customer needs, and write professional emails and letters. You will also receive a Service Best certificate to include on your resume. \nWhat will you learn? \nThis workshop offers a thorough explanation of requirements in fulfilling customer service duties such as:  \n\nUsing positive language \n\n\nMeeting customers’ needs \n\n\nDealing with customers’ complaints  \n\n\nDe-escalating potential conflicts \n\n\nHandling customers’ requests \n\n\nTalking with customers over the phone \n\n\nWriting emails to customers \n\nWhen you finish this workshop, you will \n\nDevelop insights into customer service work \n\n\nBe able to interact with customers appropriately in routine and difficult situations  \n\n\nBecome more informed and confident as a customer service representative \n\n\nComplete a Service Best certificate from Tourism Saskatchewan \n\nWho is eligible for this workshop? \nWorkshops are intended for any newcomers to Canada (focusing on, but not limited to, newcomers within the past 5 years), aged 16 and over, who experience cultural and/or language/literacy barriers to employment. \nDaytime workshops require CLB 5+.
