DESCRIPTION:This program helps newcomers understand the culture, role and history of volunteerism in Saskatchewan and Canada. It explains how non-profit organizations are structured and how they generally operate. It gives them a platform to identify their skills, attributes, and interests to find opportunities to contribute successfully.\nIt is a 6-week program offered three times a year. It is open to refugees and permanent residents with Canadian Language Benchmark: CLB 5+\nInvolve participants will also get the opportunity to attend the INVOLVE Indigenous History & Culture Sessions.\n
