DESCRIPTION:In Young Leaders Academy Program, you will learn leadership values that will help you be an effective leader and team player. Every week we will have specialists and facilitators in different sectors such as Indigenous, Health, Volunteer, Financial, Project Management and more. You will increase your social networks and enhance your self-confidence, all while gaining volunteer experience and making a difference in your community!\nThe program starts January 18 – Mar 28, 2024. Every Thursday. 5:00PM – 7:00PM in hybrid but mostly in-person at Regina Open Door Society and online via zoom.\nEligibility:\nYouth ages 13 – 24 who are refugees, immigrants, and permanent residents. This program does not offer assistance to citizens or temporary permit holders. CUAET visa holders are eligible.\nFeb 22 is Family Day Break for students so there will be no session and resume on Feb 29.\n
