
Computers for Life
Learn how to use a computer for FREE! Explore two levels, each lasting 4 weeks with 6 hours per week.
Classes will take place Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30PM to 5:30PM.
Eligibility: Newcomers of any immigration category 18 years and older No prior computer experience required.
In Level 1 you will learn:
- Use the keyboard and mouse
- Create and organize documents in folders
- Find information online and recognize scams
- Translate between English and your language
- Use maps to plan a trip
- Send and receive emails
- Set up a computer and connect to Internet
In Level 2 you will learn:
- Edit documents and complete online forms
- Store information on the internet
- Send attachments and links through email
- Apply for jobs and services online
- Practice video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Do online shopping and banking
- Protect yourself from scams
