The Regina Open Door Society RODS is a non-profit organization that provides settlement and integration services to refugees and immigrants in Regina. RODS is committed to meeting the needs of newcomers by offering programs and services that enable them to achieve their goals and participate fully in the broader community.

The Regina Open Door Society Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to staff the full-time term position of Program Evaluation and Reporting Coordinator. The term for this position is October 15, 2022 - March 1, 2023, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will have relevant post-secondary training or a minimum of three years of related work experience. Demonstrated maturity, the ability to work cross-culturally, a positive attitude, documentation ability, effective organizational, communication, time management and excellent computer skills will be necessary. The successful applicant will also require a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in the area of Social Science
  • Minimum three years related work in the area of program evaluation and reporting
  • Effective organizational, communication, time management
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills
  • Clean criminal record
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5

  • Knowledge of and experience with issues facing immigrants and refugees.
  • Broad knowledge of database systems
  • Solid communication and group facilitation skills
  • Working knowledge of program evaluation/survey i.e. outcome measurements, proposal and report writing
  • Knowledge of privacy policy and legislation
  • Strong inter-personal skills to effectively work in a multi-cultural team environment
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills are essential
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Windows, MS Office, email and internet.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast phase environment

Position Responsibilities

In Consultation with management and program team leaders:

  • Design and maintain standardized reporting tools for IRCC funded programs
  • Participate in the continued implementation and improvement of the database

System.

  • Ensure data entry is up to date and accurate
  • Work in collaboration with team leaders, management and staff to produce

monthly, quarterly and annual reports

  • Review/edit program reports and submit to funders
  • Support programs to develop the necessary tools to measure program outcomes
  • Compile program reports when needed
  • Provide database and reporting training
  • Develop and update program policies and procedures
  • Produce and disseminate program evaluation reports
  • Support the implementation of a work plan for each program
  • Track and report on program targets
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes
  • As directed conduct audits of program files and other program-related documents to

ensure program are meeting the standards

  • Contribute to the preparation of annual reports, proposals and other documents

The hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 4:00 PM. All position at RODS requires a clean criminal record/child abuse registry check. There is a cost-shared benefits package available to the employee with successful completion of a six-month probationary period. The annual salary for this position is $42,861.61 $24.42 per hour.
