Corona Virus Fact Sheet


 

The Regina Open Door Society is closely monitoring developments related to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking proactive measures to keep our clients, students, and staff safe.

We are working closely with Provincial and Federal health authorities to make sure we are up to date with all safety protocols.

The safety and well being of our students, clients and staff are very important to us. That is why we have temporarily closed our in-person services starting Friday, March 20th.
We understand the importance of our services, and we will be offering services online. all program-specific updates will be shared on this page. 

 

Settlement Services:

Services that involve group gatherings, such as group orientations, homework help, and the INVOLVE program, are postponed until further notice.

The Resettlement Program will not be receiving new arrivals until further notice. Case Workers will continue to be in touch with newcomers via telephone to provide support.   

We are in the process of modifying some services to be offered by phone, email and video conference. Essential services remain operational through the phone email and video conference.

Settlement services will not be offering in-person services at this time. Instead, newcomers requiring services, please contact us by email at:

Employment Services:

All in-person services have been cancelled until further notice. 

Employment Counselling sessions are available online, but we are not accepting new clients at this time.

Existing clients please email your counsellor to schedule an appointment and register for online workshops. 

 


 Language Services

At this time all Language classes are postponed. Online resources and classes will be available soon. 

 


Child Care Centre: 

We will be following recommendations from the Ministry of Education-Early Learning and Child Care. At this time, our Child Care Centre will remain open.
