How long will it take to process my application?
Once we receive your completed application, we will try to process it within 2 weeks. We will contact your reference, however, sometimes the reference check process can take longer.
After completing the reference check, we will provide you with a letter to obtain a Criminal Record Check. Once acquired, please take this letter to the Regina Police Service at 1717 Osler Street. As of March 19, 2018, the fee for volunteer criminal record checks will be $10.00 (ten dollars). The Regina Police Service policy states that record checks are valid for 30 days and can be reprinted at any time within 30 days.
After receiving your complete application (reference check, criminal record check) we will schedule a training and orientation and you will need to sign the volunteer onboarding forms.
