Summer Children Program

Welcome to Summer Children Program 2024!

About Us

Summer Children Program is a thrilling and enriching experience designed specifically for newcomer children aged 6-12. Our program is crafted to foster a love for exploration, creativity, and community bonding. With a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor activities, we ensure that every child creates lasting memories and learns valuable skills while having a blast.

Join us for an unforgettable journey throughout July and August 2024. Our camp runs through the summer months from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday-Friday.

Nestled in the heart of Regina, Saskatchewan, our home base is the First Baptist Church. From here, we embark on exciting adventures, exploring the beauty and wonders of our surroundings.

Program Highlights

Field Trips: Get ready to embark on thrilling adventures as we explore Regina’s finest attractions. From parks to museums, each trip promises excitement and new discoveries.

Outdoor Activities: Dive into the great outdoors with a range of activities including sports, visiting near by parks and farms and much more! Our experienced staff ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Arts and Crafts: Unleash your creativity with engaging arts and crafts sessions. Learn to paint and do cool crafts from our SSWIS workers as well as get opportunities to explore your musical talents with special guests!

Learning and Growth: Our program isn’t just about fun; it’s also about learning and personal growth. Through team-building exercises and interactive workshops, children develop essential life skills such as leadership, communication, and confidence. We also take time to focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Physical activities.

Priority Enrollment

We give priority enrollment to vulnerable or refugee children and those whose parents are attending LINC classes during the summer. We aim to create a diverse and supportive community where every child feels valued and included.
