The Regina Open Door Society is located in the City of Regina on Treaty 4 land, which is recognized as the traditional territory of the nêhiyawak/Cree, Nahkawē/Saulteaux, Anihšināpēk, Dakota, Lakota, Nakoda, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.
Case Management is a client-centred, comprehensive approach to settlement program service delivery for newcomers facing persistent multiple barriers to integration. Regina Open Door Society (RODS) works one-on-one with each client to create a personalized plan. We help you navigate different services and support you until you feel confident managing things on your own. RODS Case Management services are referral-based and align with IRCC’s Case Management Framework under CFP 2024 requirements.
Personalized settlement support for newcomers with complex needs
Dedicated caseworker help immigrants, refugees, and vulnerable newcomers overcome multiple challenges to achieve self-sufficiency in their new community. Case managers contact clients after receiving referrals from the designated needs assessment service provider in a timely manner.

The Reality of Case Management Clients
Case management clients are newcomers who face multiple barriers that prevent them from achieving a successful settlement. These vulnerable individuals often arrive with limited resources and overwhelming challenges, from housing and employment to healthcare and system navigation. They encounter interconnected obstacles, including difficulty securing affordable housing, a lack of recognition for foreign credentials, complex healthcare access requirements, and unfamiliarity with Canadian systems.
